The referencing process

Our aim is to make the lettings process as fast and as easy as possible, whilst ensuring all the i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed. But it does not stop there… We keep the revenue streams coming into you with tenancy and insurance renewals and our unique Home MOT™ services.

Tenants and Guarantors

Immediately a request is made for a reference, an email and SMS is sent to a tenant or guarantor with a unique and secure link to the lettings platform. The recipient will then create a unique login and upload their credentials including any required documents.

Once this process is fully completed a credit check is automatically run and the results are instantly available to the letting agent. The referencing process can be halted at this stage if the recipient does not cut the mustard.

Employer and Landlord References

At the same time, a request for a reference is sent to the current employer and landlord by email and SMS with a unique and secure link to the lettings platform. The recipient will then create a unique login and provide the requisite reference.

Once this process is fully completed the results are instantly available to the letting agent. In the event that a response is not received by a referee within 4 working hours a rigorous chase process is commenced.
